Get Out

Well heres another Fenix-related picture that didnt turn out in any way how I meant it to. Oh well.

Kudas barely took notice of the "Do not enter" sign on the door as he pushed it open. He opened his mouth to speak but was distracted by the overwhelming lack of light. Even Ekloraes light was off. He blinked a few times, trying to let his eyes adjust, then stepped forward. "Fenix?"
Silence for a moment, then heard something like a swivel chair turning. He noticed a human figure sitting near by, it was Fenix. For a moment Kudas swore he caught a glimpse of her eyes reflecting the light...like an animal. Quietly he heard her speak: "I thought you people knew better than to bother me while Im working."
His instincts told him he needed to get out, but curiosity got the better of him. He took another step forward and tried to speak again, but immediately jumped back at the sound of her lunging at him. The first swipe missed, the second grazed his throat. He stumbled back toward the door. When did her nails get so damn long? She had always had long nails, but...
She stood back, watching, waiting to she what hed do. He put a hand to where she scratched him. She knew what she was doing. Had he not moved, she would have gouged out his eye and torn out his jugular. Or maybe she was just trying to scare him. An unnerving thought occurred to him: she could tear him apart and no one would know. She could blame it on any of the many monsters at her disposal, and no one would think twice about it. So why doesnt she?
"Heh, guess Ill come back later then," he said as he backed out of the room, not quite ready to turn his back on her. Well, things just keep getting interesting.
